Porsche has officially put the 918 Spyder on sale for a breathtaking MSRP of $845,000. Toyota introduced its third-generation Prius at the Detroit Auto Show with an extensively re-engineered hybrid drivetrain. Ninety percent of the Prius's hybrid synergy drive system has been redesigned, with the focus on weight reduction. The lighter components include the transaxle to cut down on torque loss, inverter with direct cooling and smaller motor.

Audi have been busy putting out new photos of the Audi TT facelift – and even a video – to assure TT lovers that the 2010/2011 Audi TT Facelift really is a big change to the outgoing model. Audi claim the revised TT is more than a product improvement and that it looks much sportier thanks to changes to the front which make the TT seem wider and more stylish with it’s optional LEDs. They say that the TT’s new colours and shiny new alloys – in 17″ and 18″ options – stand out and enhance the TT’s timeless architecture.
